Boyd McClurg - The Photographer

For ten years Boyd McClurg lived in the mountain areas of Ireland and Britain and travelled regularly to the Alpine regions of Europe as well as the Rocky Mountains of the USA and the Peruvian Andes fulfilling a passion for photographing spectacular landscapes and close hand Adventure Sport Action.

A full-time professional photographer since 2000, Boyd now works from a converted barn on the edge of the beautiful village of Broughshane, Co. Antrim and specialises in photographing weddings all over Ireland. The approach to your wedding day is relaxed but well planned and the camera is busy all day, even when you are not in the picture yourself.

The Barn Studio is perfect for Portraiture yet there are so many other possibilities too for those who would enjoy family portraits on location.

Portraits
The Barn Studio is an ideal pleasant environment for families and children. Portraits are the most important way to reflect your family lifestyle here and now. These become the focus for your most precious memories in the future.

Pet Portraits
In 2002 Boyd gained honours at the world’s biggest portrait competition, WPPI, in Las Vegas for his well known photograph of a litter of boxer pups with their mother. Pets from pups to ponies are such a big part of the family life and there is no greater satisfaction than capturing their nature on camera and having beautiful photographs to cherish in the future.
