Our daughter was married here on Friday 11th September. We cannot say enough about this venue, and the way that the event was managed. The venue itself is fabulous - the house, the main room where we had the wedding breakfast, the other rooms that we used. Recent redecoration and a brand new merely added to the feeling of overall splendour. The Toastmaster for the day, Michael Bowdery, performed that function quite magnificently. The food was of the very highest standard, in terms of both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. Many of our guests commented on how superb the food was. Even the way in which the food arrived (whole tables done at once, rather than in dribs and drabs) meant that guests did not have to wait until the rest of their table had been served. The staff were very friendly, courteous, attentive, and pleasant, and contributed to what was an absolutely fabulous day for all concerned.
