Weddings
At Balmoral we have numerous facilities and high calibre of staff available to help you host the perfect function.

The Balmoral is now licensed to Hold Civil Ceremonies.

A popular choice now for couples is to hold their wedding ceremony and reception all at the one venue.

There are many benefits of having your ceremony and reception in one place, including time saved travelling between venues, transport costs and of course the time you'll have to spend with your guests.

Both our Loughview Suite and Ballroom have been licensed to Hold Civil ceremonies. To hire a room for the Civil Ceremony is £200.



Our Wedding Co-Ordinator is experienced in organising your Civil ceremony, they can assist you with all the application requirements and advise you on making the necessary appointments with your registrar or clergy.

Photographs can be taken at the near-by municipal park which boasts fabulous landscaping all year round with the beautiful bandstand which recently celebrated its 100th year. Couples have also taken advantage of the Promenade and beautiful back drop of the Mourne Mountains.
