Former bare-knuckle fighter Paddy Doherty surprised bookmakers last night as he was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother (CBB).
The 52 year old My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star beat runner-up Ex-Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona and Irish pop twins Jedward.
Paddy thanked voters from the UK and Ireland.
"God bless every one of you. I swear to God, I swear on my life, I thought I would be out after one week.
"I never thought I would get this far. I had no game plan, I was just myself. I am me and that's it," he said.
The former bare-knuckle fighter told host Brian Dowling that Jedward were the most annoying housemates.
"Jedward are a pair of sausages. It was a nightmare living with them, I wanted to pick them up and drown them," he joked.
CCB attracted 5.27m viewers on its opening night meaning it was the most viewed programme in the history of Channel 5.
Baywatch pin-up Pamela Anderson is set enter the house on Friday along with 14 new housemates chosen by producers as the new series of Big Brother returns.
