Malcolm Rose, 53, and his wife Michelle,44, called upon fellow members of the Norwich Mods Scotter Club to accompany their vintage Volkswagen Beetle bridal carriage from their home in Horsham St Faith to Churchman House registry office, according to the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press
The couple have been dating for nine months they both have children from previous relationships; Malcolm has two children and Michelle has three. They meet at a soul music night.
Commenting in the paper Mr Rose said: "It’s all happened really quickly. We’ve both been married before but, as Michelle says, you just know when it’s right.
"So it’s been a bit of a whirlwind romance but we didn’t want a big wedding, we just wanted the 60s mod theme.
"I’ve always been a mod but I guess Michelle has become a bit of a modette now."
