The Voice UK judge and Lithuanian model Irma Mali are focusing on their careers at the moment.
"Both our careers are enjoying a really fruitful period right now," he told Look magazine. "It's hard being away from her, but we know there's a day when this is all going to work out.
"I send her flowers, and every other night I meet her for drinks in the Skype Bar. It's literally like online dating."
The Script frontman, 31, is currently appearing alongside Jessie J, Tom Jones and Will.i.am on the BBC talent show.
