Matthew McConaughey Marries Camila Alves

Actor Matthew McConaughey and Brazilian model Camila Alves wed on Saturday at their home in Austin, Texas.

The wedding represented the couple with an"island beach meets Texas" theme that included Brazilian food, according to Entertainment Tonight.


The pair have a 3-year-old son, Levi, and 2-year-old daughter, Vida.

Alves, 30, plans to take the actor's last name, becoming Camila McConaughey.

McConaughey, 42 and Camila met in 2006 at a bar in LA

McConaughey asked Camila to marry him on Christmas day last year.

He posted a picture of the couple kissing with the message,"just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas" on his WhoSay web page.
