According to The Sun, the comedian and actress is believed to have tied the knot with her boyfriend of two years at a secret ceremony in Cornwall.
The couple were reported to have married at the Scarlet Hotel near Newquay, Cornwall, with Jennifer Saunders and Kathy Burke among the wedding guests.
In an interview last year, 55-year-old French described Bignell (49) as "the only man who hasn't seen me on TV."
She added: "I definitely didn't think I would meet someone else. I was enjoying time to myself. Then of course that is when I met him."
French, who divorced comedian Lenny Henry in 2010 after 25 years of marriage, began dating Bignell in 2011. The couple met through Dawn's mum, Roma, who founded charity Hamoaze House with Mark.
French has an adopted daughter, 21-year-old Billie, with her ex-husband.
Last month, the comedian announced she would be joining former Spice Girl Melanie Brown on the judging panel of Australia's Got Talent.
