Owner Reunited With Lost Wedding Album

Police in Northern Ireland have said a mystery surrounding a wedding album has been solved.

Earlier this week, the PSNI launched an appeal to try and reunite an owner with their wedding album.

The album had been discovered on wasteland on the Westland Road, Cookstown, two years ago.


The album contained nine photographs of a wedding dating from the 1950s and 1960s.

Following an appeal issued through the media, a family member has now come forward to claim the photographs.

Police added that the family do not want any publicity, but were said to be "very happy" to have the pictures returned.
