The former Girls Aloud singer made the admission in an interview with new! magazine.
Harding, 31, has been dating DJ Mark Foster for a year, but has said she is broody and would like a large family.
However, the singer revealed: "I don't know if I could push out that many!" before adding: "I might do an Angelina Jolie and adopt a couple. I haven't thought that far ahead, to be honest. But I've got three dogs and two cats, so that's enough for now. It's like having kids."
Harding also opened up about her relationship with Foster, who she'd known as a friend before their romance.
She added: "I've been with him for a good year now, but we've known each other since we were young – before I got into the band. We met when we worked together at a pizza shop! He was a drum 'n' bass DJ and I used to go and watch him play. It's cool because he's my mate as well as my boyfriend.
"We were on and off for a few years back then and just drifted back together last year when he got in touch out of the blue. It must have been meant to be."
The singer was quick to dismiss any talk of marriage however, admitting: "Oh, don't start! I'm not in a rush and I'm happy with how things are. But the career comes first at the moment."
