Kelly Clarkson has admitted she would like a baby for Christmas.
The former American Idol winner added that she is due to marry her fiancé Brandon Blackstock "really soon".
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the 31-year-old said: "We're getting married soon – like really soon – and I already told him that when we're past the wedding, I want a baby. I was like, 'That's my Christmas present that you can give me'."
Clarkson is already a step-mother to Blackstock's two children from a previous relationship.
She added: "I love doing homework with them. I love just the whole thing. It can get overwhelming for every parent, especially with your scheduled when you're working and stuff.
"At the end of the day, it's so much fun just to come home. I've never worried about other people. I've always been really selfish. It's like, you worry about other people now. It's the whole thing."
Clarkson and Blackstock started dating in February 2012, having known each other for a number of years. In December 2012, the couple revealed they were engaged.
