Avril Lavigne is a perfect homemaker, according to her husband Chad Kroeger.
Speaking to ET Canada, the Nickleback singer added that he is impressed with his partner's cooking talents.
He added: "I could burn water. She's an amazing cook."
"I just go with the flow and kinda see what's in the fridge and then start," Lavigne chipped in.
Kroeger, 38, then replied: "...You never miss. I've never tasted one thing that you've put on the table where I was like, [laughs] 'I wish I had a dog.' That's never happened."
The singer also said married life was good, going as far as to know exactly how long it has been since the pair married earlier this year.
"Married life's good," Kroeger confessed. "It's been 94 days. I could give you, like, to the hour if needed. Happy wife, happy life. I think every man learns that quick. Really quick."
The couple started dating in February 2012 when Kroeger worked with Lavigne on her album. In July this year, they tied the knot in France.
Lavigne was previously married to Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley. After three years of marriage, Lavigne filed for divorce in October 2009. Their separation was finalised in November 2010.
