The actress, who is currently expecting her third child, slammed the reports in an interview with Vogue magazine.
The actress strongly defended her family, and said people assume she is a bad parent because she has two children from two different fathers. Her third child is also from a different father – new husband Ned Rocknroll – but she argued that she is a hands-on parent and does not leave her children to nannies.
She told the publication: "People go, 'Oh, my God! Those poor children! They must have gone through so much.' Says who? They've always been with me. They don't go from pillar to post; they're not flown here and there with nannies. That's never happened.
"My kids don't go back and forth; none of this 50/50 time with the mums and dads - my children live with me; that is it. That is it!"
Winslet, 38, has a nine-year-old son Joe with ex-husband Sam Mendes, and a daughter, 13-year-old Mia, with first husband Jim Threapleton and said her children have good relationships with their respective dads.
The actress first met Rocknroll in August 2011, during a holiday to Necker Island, the private resort island of Sir Richard Branson. The couple started dating shortly afterwards and in the summer of 2012, revealed their engagement. They married in a private ceremony in December 2012, and in June this year, they revealed they are expecting their first child together.
