Another name which is increasing in popularity, largely in part due to celebrity influence, is 'North'.
Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West confirmed they had given their daughter the moniker. As a result, the name is now ranking at seventh place among unisex names – it is the first time it has appeared on the list.
Another name climbing the list due is Harper, the name given to the Beckhams' only daughter.
Elsewhere for girls' names, Imogen was the most popular name for the first nine months of 2013, while Charlotte came in second.
Other female monikers on the rise are Amelia, Evelyn and Penelope are the other names gaining popularity.
For the boys, the most popular name was Asher, while Finn, Atticus and Declan pushed the more traditional names of James and Henry down the list.
When it came to gender-neutral baby names, Rowan topped the list, with Quinn, Kai, Sawyer and Avery rounding out the top five.
