TMZ has reported that the couple cited "irreconcilable differences" for the break up. The pair had been married for 23 years.
They are believed to have separated in September. His wife, Linda Kozlowski, 55, has allegedly asked for spousal support and joint custody of their son Chance, 15.
This would be Hogan's third divorce.
He married his first wife Noelene in 1958, and divorced her in 1981.
He remarried her in 1982, however the pair divorced again a few years later.
