Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the Atomic Kitten singer told her followers: "Good morning twitter land, yes I'm up and feeding my beautiful baby girl who just threw up all down my back! Nice :-/ lol xxxx. (sic)"
An hour later, she added: "A sleeping baby is one of the cutest things ever! It makes all those late nights totally worth it! :) just a shame she's not asleep lol xxx."
However, she then happily told her fans that her two-week-old daughter had finally gone to sleep.
"Me and Molly laying on the bed watching her beautiful baby sister sleep! What a great big sis she is, she changed her first nappy today."
Katona and her fiancé, former rugby player George Kay, welcomed their daughter at the start of April. They have not yet revealed the little girl's name, but it has been reported that they have called her Jorgie.
While this is Kay's first child, Katona is also mum to Molly, 12, and Lilly Sue, 11, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, seven, and five-year-old Maxwell from second husband Mark Croft.
