Gracing the cover of the publication, the 39-year-old wore a white satin gown and veil by Atelier Versace. However, it is the bride's veil that has garnered the attention after it was revealed to be decorated with colourful drawings – each one created by her six children.
Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt, tied the knot in a secret ceremony on 23 August at their Chateau Miraval home in France.
Very few details have been released regarding the couple's big day, but it is understood their children played a large role in proceedings.
In an interview with Hello magazine, which covered the wedding alongside People, the couple said: "It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family."
Sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mother down the aisle, while Zahara, nine, and Vivienne, six, were flower girls. Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old Knox were ring bearers.
Pitt, 50, and Jolie first met in 2005 after starring in the film Mr and Mrs Smith together. They announced their engagement in April 2012. Pitt was previously married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston, while Jolie was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
