Nadine Coyle has admitted she was surprised to hear her former Girls Aloud bandmate, Cheryl, had tied the knot.
Speaking to Attitude magazine, Coyle said she didn't even know the 31-year-old was in a relationship.
When asked about Cheryl's wedding to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini earlier this year, Coyle, 29, admitted: "I didn't even know. I had a friend tell me and I thought it was to the boyfriend that I had met a while back and I was, like, 'Oh my God', but then it's this new guy.
"If you meet somebody and think, 'I'm going to get married', you must be having a ball."
In July, Cheryl announced she and her boyfriend of three months had tied the knot in a small, private ceremony on the island of Mustique. Just four guests are said to have been in attendance.
The singer shared her wedding news via Instagram. Posting a photo of her wedding rings, she captioned the snap: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news.
"Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together."
