Man Loses Wedding Ring On Bus

A man has appealed for help in locating his wedding ring – after he lost it on a bus.

According to The Star, Michael Campbell was on an 88 Stagecoach bus to Sheffield when the ring is thought to have fallen out of his pocket.

The 30-year-old has said the ring is "irreplaceable" as his wife of six weeks, Lucy, hand-made the ring.

The white gold ring has a scratched effect and has 'AM' stamped on the inside.

Speaking to the publication, Mr Campbell said: "My wife is very understanding but I'm really angry with myself.

"Me and my wife made each other's wedding rings, we went to an independent lady near Alfreton where you can make the rings from a piece of metal.

"It's worth about £500 but it's not the monetary value. It's irreplaceable because it's the only one.

"Stupidly I take my ring off when I am getting ready in the morning, to preserve it to stop it getting covered in hair wax.

"I put it in my pocket along with my phone. When I was on the bus, I remember pulling my phone out and that must be when it fell out onto the seat.

"I have contacted Stagecoach and they have put an alert out through their drivers but I have not heard anything yet. I felt sick when I realised and I still feel sick now."

He added: "It is the most precious item I have ever owned and it would mean absolutely everything to me to get it back."
