The pair, who have presented 'Location, Location, Location' since 2000, have long been the subject of relationship rumours, but they have always insisted they are just friends. Recently, they were spotted leaving a hotel room together, fuelling speculation once again.
However, speaking to the Radio Times, 45-year-old Spencer explained: "I was downstairs in reception, and Kirstie rang. She said, 'Darling, I've locked myself out of my room', so I go up with a new card, let her in and wait while she packs and brushes her teeth.
"Then we walk out, I'm wheeling her suitcase, people notice."
Setting rumours aside, Spencer is happily married to his wife Fiona. They have two sons together, Jake and Ben. Allsopp, meanwhile, and her partner – property developer Ben Andersen – also have two sons, Bay and Oscar, together.
