Couple Hold 'Minion' Themed Wedding

A couple from Cumbria have held a Minion-themed wedding.

According to BBC's Newsbeat, Sam Finan, 44, and Bob Thomas, 52, who are both from Barrow-in-Furness, chose the theme following a night out. For their big day, the couple's bridesmaids dresses were yellow, while the groomsmen wore yellow ties. The theme also continued through to the reception, where the tables, confetti and placeholders featured the now-famous animated characters, while the balloons and decorations were white, yellow and blue, while a Minion wedding cake was also presented. The Minions themselves also made an appearance at the wedding.


Ms Finan is quoted as saying: "All the guests think we are bonkers but it's our sense of humour."
