Alan Halsall has confirmed that he and his wife, Lucy-Jo Hudson, have reunited.
The reunion comes just a few weeks after the couple announced they had separated.
Over the weekend, Halsall and Hudson were spotted kissing at a charity football match. Speculation quickly arose that the pair had decided to give their marriage another chance and on Tuesday, 33-year-old Halsall took to Twitter to reveal that he was treating his "beautiful wife" to a romantic holiday for her birthday.
He wrote: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife @LucyJo_Hudson who is 33 today love you so much darling, and cannot wait for Paris (sic)."
His wife quickly re-tweeted the message and replied with a series of heart-eyed emojis as well as the hashtag 'lucky girl'.
Halsall and Hudson met in 2005 while they were both working on Coronation Street. They married in June 2009, following a four-year relationship. In September 2013, the couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sienna-Rae.
