Georgia May Foote has – once again – denied speculation that she is engaged.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star was appearing on Celebrity Juice when she was questioned about her relationship. Host Keith Lemon asked the actress about reports she was wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
Foote admitted that she was, but denied that it was an engagement ring.
She explained: "Yeah, but it's not an engagement ring. Right, I said this, this is an argument we had when he [Giovanni Pernice] give it to me.
"Right, in Italy he says that when you get a girlfriend and a serious girlfriend you get a ring. So they don't really do the engagement thing. You just get a ring and it's like a nice commitment but they have to wear it on that finger."
Lemon replied with the question: "Like ownership?"
To which Foote said: "Kind of, yeah."
Taking to Twitter after the show she added: "We are absolutely not engaged guys... It's a gift and a tradition. If I was I would tell you, trust me."
Foote, 25, and Pernice have been dating for around five months. They met last year when they were partnered together during the latest series of BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
The couple became good friends, but speculation soon arose that the couple were also romantically involved – despite Foote being in a relationship with actor Sean Ward at the time.
However, she has since denied she was unfaithful to her partner, insisting that her romance with Pernice began after Strictly ended and after she had split up from her ex.
