According to gossip site TMZ, Rashid has cited "irreconcilable differences".
The date of the couple's separation has been listed as 28 November, 2015. It is understood that this is also the date Rashid was arrested on a domestic violence charge following allegations that she bit her husband's leg. She was taken into police custody, charged with felony corporal injury and released on $50,000 bail. The case was later dropped as prosecutors could not determine who the aggressor in the fight was.
Rashid is Jackson's third wife. The couple married in 2004, just eight months after they met.
