Speaking on ITV's Loose Women he said: "We will have to wait and see, that is a long way off. I am not someone who will rush into things. Getting this far for me and meeting someone and getting to know them as a person is a bit of a result for me anyway.
"I do have a five-year plan and I'd love to be with Marnie at the end of it. If I am with Marnie in five years time, I will be surprised if she doesn't have a ring on her finger.
"Being without Marnie is odd, even though you only saw a little bit, I figured it out we spent over 550 hours together in 23 days. It's the world's longest first date."
