Cheryl has been granted a decree nisi from her estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
At the Central Family Court in London on Thursday, papers filed were said to have recorded Cheryl's complaints of her husband's "unreasonable behaviour", saying that it caused her "stress and weight loss".
In a statement to the MailOnline, a representative for Cheryl said: "Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings.
"No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected."
The couple married in secret in 2014 following a three-month romance. They were last seen together in October 2015 and in January of this year, it was confirmed that the couple had separated.
