Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he is not in a relationship.
The Formula 1 driver was appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday when he was questioned about his love life.
After discussing F1, the host then said to the 31-year-old: "You are quite the ladies' man. Your reputation is you know... Well, you know who you've been with."
When Ellen then mentioned the singer Rihanna, Hamilton responded with: "Oh, really?"
The host was prepared, however, and soon a selection of photographs of the sportsman – as well as the various famous females he has been romantically linked to – flashed up on a large screen.
She continued: "You're single now, or... Well, you won't be honest with me. Are you with somebody now?"
Finally relenting, Hamilton admitted: "No I'm not [with somebody]. I was in a long-term eight-year relationship, so I'm focussed on my racing and trying to win the championship this year."
Hamilton previously dated singer Nicole Scherzinger, but they called time on their eight-year romance for good in February 2015.
