Ayda Field 'Gave Up Career For Husband'

Ayda Field has admitted that she gave up her career so that she could be with her husband, Robbie Williams.

The actress made the revelation during an appearance with her partner on ITV's Loose Women on Monday. She explained how she had been offered a role in a major US television show, but turned it down so that she could move to the UK with Williams.

She told the panel: "I was in love with Rob from the minute we got together. I think if it was any other person, I would have run away but...

"I gave up my career for a really long time. When we moved to England, I got offered a really big show and he begged me not to take it."

Her husband then joked: "And she's never let me forget it."

He then explained: "I'm making you do this because it was the only way it [relationship] was going to work. I'm completely in love with my wife, but more importantly, I never stop liking her."

The pair met on a blind date in 2006. They tied the knot at Williams' home in Beverly Hills in 2010 and have two children together. Their daughter, Theodora 'Teddy' Rose was born in September 2012, and their son, Charlton Valentine, was born in October 2014.
