Giovanna Fletcher has admitted that her life has changed greatly since becoming a mother.
The 31-year-old made the comments during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Wednesday. Fletcher was appearing alongside Dr Hilary Jones as he suggested ways parents make sure they have time for themselves – and each other – following the birth of children.
However, after suggesting that parents should go on a date night "a couple of times a week", Fletcher replied: "A couple of nights a week? I'm lucky to get out twice a month."
She later added of motherhood: "I didn't feel like I lost my identity, but I definitely lost my confidence [after becoming a mother].
"I feel like there's such a right and wrong way to parent because everyone's got an opinion. You feel yourself retracting a lot because you don't know if your way is 'right'."
Fletcher, 31, and her husband Tom are parents to two sons; Buzz, two, and nine-month-old Buddy.
