The couple – who star on The Only Way Is Essex – separated earlier this year following a turbulent on-off relationship. It had previously been claimed that Wicks had been unfaithful to McKenna, but later there were allegations that she had also cheated.
On Wednesday's episode of the reality television show, the former couple met for the first time since their split so that they could clear up the rumours. Despite both referring to the encounter as "awkward", McKenna said: "I don't want it to be awkward. It's weird being in the same place as you."
She continued: "Now we're face-to-face, I want to say.."
However, she was cut off from saying anymore with her ex stating: "I don't want to hear it."
McKenna then snapped: "F**k sake. Why are you trying to shut me down?"
When Wicks admitted: "You're single. You don't ned to explain anything to me," she then softened her attitude.
However, while he was referring to reports that Megan had been "all over" her ex-boyfriend very soon after their separation, she insisted: "It's not about that. I just wanted to say when I was with you I was 100 percent faithful.
"It's just a shame it never worked, because I felt like it could have. It's hard standing here. I didn't think we'd get to this point. It got weird and it was s**t."
