She told her followers on Twitter: "I want to put it out there as @SimonDanczuk hasn't yet. I ended the relationship some days ago. I have my reasons. I wish him luck.
"I feel totally fine. It was the right and best decision I have made."
Meade and Danczuk, 50, are understood to have met through social media and started dating in December 2016.
