The former couple, who are co-parents to daughter Stormi, went their separate ways in recent weeks, with Travis moving out of their shared home.
Taking to Twitter this week, Kylie, who had remained silent until now, said: "Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi!! Our friendship and our daughter is priority."
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star took the decision to address the matter after reports emerged she had been secretly meeting her ex-boyfriend Tyga. She explained: "The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no '2am date with Tyga'. You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at."
It's understood the couple are taking a break for now while Travis focuses on his music.
