Looking for something a little bit different on your wedding day ? Something fun, unusual and a little bit quirky that is guaranteed to be a talking point long after the guests have gone home ?

Well, look no further than INKWELL cartoon and caricature.

Founded in 2008 by Michael 'Mick' O'Dell after 20 years of drawing caricatures as gifts for friends, family and colleagues and in response to a request for a wedding caricaturist to attend a wedding in Donegal, it has since expanded year on year to fill a gap in the entertainment market here in N.Ireland and Eire.



Before the wedding day get the fun started and set the scene by getting Mick to draw a bespoke caricature of the Bride and Groom for use on your wedding stationery. You can have anything you like in the picture, or the more traditional Groom holding the Bride (you can also have your own venue in the background). You only pay for the artwork once so you can have it printed on anything you like (printing costs extra)

Then on the day itself hire him to come to your reception and draw 'LIVE' caricatures of your guests 'face to face' for a unique and hilarious form of entertainment.


Caricatures are generally Black and White with grey shading on A3 card pre-printed with the Bride and Grooms name and the date and take approx 4 mins (15 per hour) each for an individual, slightly longer for couples and groups (up to around six), you can have colour if you like but it takes longer and is really only suitable for small weddings.

You pay per hour and the caricatures are then free to the guests as a unique souvenir of the day.

Depending on the size of the wedding not everyone gets to be drawn but Mick always sits with his back to 'the crowd' so part of the entertainment is watching others being captured, usually with suitable comments thrown in !! and whilst the caricatures are designed to be amusing they shouldn't cause offense.



The most popular time for caricature entertainment is the 'lull' in the afternoon between the service and the meal for 2-3 hours (min 2hours per booking) when the photos are being taken and the guests are 'hanging around' although it is also available in the evening for up to 4 hours if you prefer.
