According to The sun newspaper the last straw came for Demi, 48, when the Two And A Half Men star, 33, was pictured talking to a blonde on the same night he is accused of sleeping with party girl Sara Leal.
It has been reported that Demi took legal advice on Friday about ending the marriage and splitting the pair's £200million fortune.
A source told the newspaper: "She desperately wanted to save their marriage. But the Sara Leal story is a hard one for Kutcher to deny as it is backed up by photos."
Aston has been accused of bringing Sara 23 and a dozen girls back to his Hard Rock Hotel room in San Diego, California.
Guest Megan McNutt is quoted in The Sun saying: "It was pretty wild. All the girls were throwing themselves at him but Sara's a hot girl. They definitely had sex."
