Royal Wedding Has The 'Winning Moves'

The makers of the Royal Wedding inspired edition of Monopoly have said they are having trouble fitting the name of Wales' longest place on to the board game.

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch had to be squeezed into just one square on the Isle of Anglesey version of the game, which is set to be launched next week.

"Getting the name on just the one site proved immense," said Winning Moves UK.

Thirty locations on the isle which became Prince William and Kate Middleton's first married home after their 29 April wedding are to feature on the new edition.

The Anglesey town, which as a 58 character spelling, is commonly referred to as Llanfair PG or Llanfairpwll.

The town has claimed the longest railway station name in the UK and will take the square reserved for King's Cross in the traditional version of the game.
