SodaHead.com, a web opinion-based community, has just released the results of a poll which shows that 63% of respondents think that black wedding dresses are "cool," while only 37% think they are "creepy."
This follows the release of Vera Wang’s latest wedding dress collection of dark 'I Do' dresses and it seems that brides are considering the fashionista's option of a noir dress for their big day.
This week’s New York’s bridal fashion week was awash with ebony wedding gowns, courtesy of the grande dame of wedding dress designers, Vera Wang, who was behind the nuptial gowns of Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Chelsea Clinton.
Wang’s catwalk show was awash with a collection of pitch black lace, organza and tulle and as sure as night follows day, such a strong style statement will trickle from the catwalk and into the church aisles before long.
But the same survey also revealed that those who already have a ring on their finger have mixed emotions about the new darkly beautiful bridal designs.
