Plastic surgeons have said that they have seen a 12% increase in these kinds of procedures in brides over the past 24 months.
Cosmetic surgery - once considered a pricey luxury among Hollywood's rich and famous - is now a common beauty trend among brides wanting to look their best when walking down the aisle.
London based surgeon Dr Scott Ingram has noticed a substantial increase in bridal plastic surgery procedures over the past few years.
The "bridalplasty" phenomenon is said to be helped along by the likes of its TV namesake Bridalplasty, a US reality show where brides vie for plastic surgery procedures for their coming nuptials.
However this trend does not go unrivalled as news emerged about the formation of an "anti-cosmetic surgery league" in the UK.
Actress Kate Winslet enlisted her British pals Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz to the cause.
Winslet told the UK's Daily Telegraph, "[Cosmetic surgery] goes against my morals, the way that my parents brought me up and what I consider to be natural beauty."
Weisz agreed, saying, "People who look too perfect don't look sexy or particularly beautiful."
Thompson, the eldest of the three, added, "We're in this awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60."
