TMZ reports that Kim has hired lawyer Marty Singer to silence Jonathan Jaxson who is saying Kim never wanted to marry Kris Humphries and her wedding was staged.
Jaxson worked on a blog with Kim but and during their time together signed a confidentiality agreement which is believed to have been violated now.
Kim says she has not spoken to Jason, who is currently on a media tour promoting his book, in years.
The star is seeking $200,000 in defamation charges.
Singer told TMZ: "Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense ... This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame."
Jonathan Jaxson told TMZ: "I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties signature on it."
