Cyber Attack On Royal Wedding Website Alleged

An alleged teenager hacker has been arrested in connection with what has been described as a plot to corrupt the official website of the royal wedding, it has emerged.

A 16-year-old boy from Harrogate, North Yorkshire was questioned as part of an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's specialised E-Crime Unit.

A police spokesman told the BBC that the alleged offence was in connection with a suspected "denial of service" attack.

However, the news has only juts emerged after the youth was arrested in October and was bailed until 15 December.
