The pop star, 27, who celebrated her one year wedding anniversary to Russell Brand, 36, last month was pictured with a bloated stomach recently which set the rumour mill into overdrive.
She told a reporter at the American Music Awards that she still likes drinking alcohol so has no baby plans yet.
"I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that's your problem." she told The Insider.
When asked about the reason for the speculation she said: "Because there's that saying: first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage."
Katy Perry has just finished the UK leg of her California Dreams Tour and now performing the US shows.
