'Disabled' Wedding Dance Man Jailed

A benefits cheat who claimed to be bed-ridden, although he was filmed dancing at his own wedding, has been sent to prison.

Isleworth Crown Court heard how Mohamed Bouzalim, 37, from Morocco, fraudulently claimed nearly £400,000.

He admitted to dishonestly entering the country and exploiting the welfare system and was jailed for nearly seven years on 11 counts of deception, fraud and assisting illegal entry into the UK.

The prosecutor said a video Bouzalim dancing at his wedding and his driving test pass in an unadapted car was proof his hoax.

Robert Coxhead, senior investigating officer from the UK Border Agency Criminal and Financial Investigation team, told the BBC's Guy Smith: "Mohamed Bouzalim was a top class fraudster and con artist. His whole life was a lie."
