Wedding Rings Stolen

Police in Dundee are appealing for information after almost £10,000 worth of Christmas presents, jewellery and electrical items were stolen from a house in Broughty Ferry's.

Jewellery stolen included a custom made 18 carat gold wedding ring, an 18 carat gold diamond ring and an 18 carat gold sapphire and diamond engagement ring, as well as a sapphire and diamond engagement ring that is similar in design to the one worn by Lady Spencer and now Catherine Middleton.

A gent's Tissot watch and a lady's Hot Diamonds watch were also included in the haul.

Amongst other items taken included was a 40-inch LED TV, an Apple iPad 2, a Compaq lap top computer, a Nintendo DS, a black Nintendo Wii, a digibox, an iPod docking station and two Apple iPod Classics, as well as a two-figure sum of money. A Dell lap top computer, a Bose Sounddock and two digital cameras were also stolen, along with a number of Nintendo Wii and DS games and DVDs.

Retail gift vouchers, intended as Christmas gifts, a child's football strip and a pair of Ugg boots were also stolen.
