Wedding Planning De-stresses Olympic Swimmer

London 2012 Swimmer Keri-Anne Payne has revealed she takes her mind off Olympic Pressure by focusing on her wedding plans.

Payne, 24, who is set to marry fellow team member David Carry, was the first Briton to secure her place for 2012 by winning the world championship 10km open water swim last year.

She wants to build on her silver win from Beijing and go for gold in London this summer.

The double world champion told The Metro: "I don’t actually think ahead to the Games too much as I try to stick to my normal regime.

"That’s what has got me to where I am today. But when there are times I do start to think about competing in the Games I take the pressure off by concentrating on the final details for my wedding in September.

"We have most of the arrangements sorted, it’s just down to sending out the invitations and finalising some of the smaller details."

The team GB beauty is already on a winning streak for 2012 revealing that she will front a Max Factor beauty campaign.
