Bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and designer wear, worth up to £500 each, have all been targeted.

Manager Julie Skipp said: "It's depriving the needy we collect for and the people who can't afford a designer outfit."

It is believed a customer used a craft knife on the outfits.

Staff have said they are unaware of a reason why the outfits were besieged but rumours are circulating about a jilted bride.
