In 2011 model Lisa was tied up and threatened at knife-point in their Co Wicklow home by thieves who left with €1.5million worth of jewellery.
Among the items the invaders stole was a €500K diamond-encrusted Cartier ring which Michael Flatley gifted to the star.
Kean, 55, told the Irish Sun: "A number of the items stolen were supposed to be used in the ceremony and we were hoping to possibly get them back in time but that hasn’t worked out and the investigation is ongoing. That’s why we had to delay getting married.
"It was certainly a difficult year, for poor Lisa especially, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and we are happy and healthy, thanks be to God.
"We’ve no date set in stone as things stand but we’ll be hopefully married before the end of the year. We’re still very much in love and hope to be man and wife as soon as we can."
Lisa will star in upcoming reality show Southside Housewives.
