Cancer Support Charity To Open Bridal Boutique

An Aberdeen-based cancer support charity is set to welcome brides-to-be to its very own wedding boutique, but for a limited time only.

CLAN Cancer Support will open its wedding boutique from Monday, April 30 to Saturday, May 26, stocking a range of gowns by Alfred Angelo, Mori Lee and Romantica.

Many of the dresses are brand new from various outlets and still have their labels attached. Bridesmaid and mother of the bride outfits, as well as hats and jewellery, will also be available.

Entry to the boutique, which will be at CLAN House at 120 Westburn Road, is by appointment only by contacting Lorna or Rachel at the Rosemount CLAN Cancer Support shop on 01224 622 894..

Prices for the wedding dresses range from £100 to £500.

Susan Crighton, fundraising manager at CLAN Cancer Support, is delighted to offer this service to brides to be.

She said: "This is a very exciting project for us, and it is lovely to be able to be involved in helping brides to be find the perfect wedding dress for them.

"We have a stunning range of dresses available and to be able to offer a bridal boutique for a period of four weeks is fantastic.

"We will also be catering for grooms as we have a limited number of kilts available, so anyone in the process of wedding planning really should pay the boutique a visit."

CLAN Cancer Support is an independent charity which offers support to anyone affected by cancer. Based in Aberdeen, the charity covers the whole of Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. CLAN is also developing services in the community and now has a presence in Ballater, Inverurie, Peterhead, Stonehaven, Orkney and Shetland.
