Wedding gifts on the day will include: A two night stay in Sheraton Poland where the Irish soccer team will be staying during the Euros, 14 over night stays in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on the night of the Wedding Showcase, and finally, 15 lucky couples will experience a wedding tasting lunch in Sheraton Athlone.
In a unique event which is the first of its kind in Ireland, brides and grooms will have the opportunity to see the magnificent Hoey Suite fully set in wedding style and meet with the management team and discuss their wedding plans.
This open day will be a far cry from the wedding fair faye! On the day there will be afternoon tea, BBQ, drinks, live music, beauty demonstrations, a fashion showcase from all of our local fashion houses as well as a style talk. For all who come we will be having a celebratory style atmosphere as that evening we will be getting ready to watch the Euro Final and, fingers crossed, we may all have to show up in our green jerseys!
Sheraton Athlone is an exciting wedding venue and since opening their wedding bookings have doubled.
Sheraton Athlone Hotel’s wedding co-ordinator Anna Connaughton explained: "The key to our increased wedding bookings is down to the consistency of our wedding delivery. We have received so many thank you cards with fantastic compliments from our couples thus far. The team work extremely hard on delivering sumptuous food and excellent service with the Sheraton touch.
