A recent survey conducted by Bavaria City Racing has revealed that Jenson Button is in poll position when it comes to the Irish public.
The McLaren heartthrob topped the charts as the F1 driver Irish females would most like to share a back seat with receiving 54% of the votes, followed by Lewis Hamilton (19%), Fernando Alonso (14%), Eddie Irvine (8%) and Mark Weber (5%).
Known for his speed precision, Button was also voted the F1 driver most Irish people would like to take a spin around the track with.
Jenson also took first place on the podium as he secured the crown as the coolest motorsport driver with 29% of the vote narrowly defeating seven time world champion Michael Schumacher who received 28% of the votes. Other cool contenders included Lewis Hamilton, Jackie Stewart, David Coulthard and Valentino Rossi.
Not to be outshone, our very own Eddie Irvine keeps Irish eyes smiling by fighting off stiff competition from legendary James Hunt and Flavio Briatore to take the title of biggest playboy in motorsport according to the survey by Bavaria City Racing. Notorious for his late nights and string of beautiful women, Eddie received a whopping 43% of the vote for his off track activities and lavish lifestyle.
