A source close to the new X Factor judge told the Sun: “Lewis will sort some flights out for her, but she’s booking some herself and they’re eye-wateringly expensive.”
The ex-Pussycat Doll, 34, will spend at least £50,000 per journey flying as far as Abu Dhabi and Brazil to support the 27-year-old Formula 1 star.
She will be filming The X Factor every weekend from October to Christmas.
Nicole Scherzinger recently described her relationship with Lewis Hamilton as a 'work in progress'.
The pair have a famously on-off relationship.
Nicole opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine saying: "You have to love yourself first before you can expect it from someone else. And trust and communication are key. Me and Lewis are from similar upbringings, so we share a similar outlook.
She added: "My grandma taught me the person you want to be with isn't going to be Prince Charming - it's going to be the person you're going to be able to work on a relationship with.
"It's always a work in progress, like everything."
The X factor begins this weekend.
