A massive 73 per cent of men prefer their partner to wear make-up at all times - with smokey eyes their favourite look while 21 per cent admitted they only like their ladies to wear make-up for events and occasions. Just 6 per cent prefer the natural look.
The survey, was carried out by online beauty retailer Escentual.com, Emma Leslie their beauty editor said: “It doesn’t surprise me that men prefer their partners with make up on,' she said.
“There's nothing more sexy than a confident woman, and make-up - even if just a bit of mascara or cover-up - can make a woman feel so much more empowered.”
Men pointed to the smokey eyed look as seen on Mila Kunis, Kate Moss and the Duchess of Cambridge.
